DESCRIPTION:TESDA\, through its Mobile Agricultural Innovation System (MAIs)\, will conduct a 3-day Agri-Tech Skills Caravan aimed at equipping local farmers and youth with modern\, sustainable farming techniques and digital tools for agriculture. The training focuses on increasing productivity and profitability using accessible technologies. \nObjectives: \n\n\nTo introduce modern agricultural practices to rural farmers. \n\n\nTo provide hands-on training using TESDA’s Mobile Training Laboratory. \n\n\nTo promote the use of mobile apps and tools in agri-enterprise. \n\n\nTo strengthen community-based skills development in agriculture. \n\n\nTraining Programs Offered: \n\n\nOrganic Fertilizer Production \n\n\nBasic Drone Operation for Farming \n\n\nFarm Record-Keeping using Mobile Apps \n\n\nSmart Irrigation System Setup \n\n\nSafe and Effective Pest Control \n\n\nTarget Participants:Local farmers\, out-of-school youth\, agri-entrepreneurs\, and barangay officials. \nExpected Output: \n\n\n50+ farmers trained and certified. \n\n\n10 demo plots established for community use. \n\n\nLaunch of local Agri-Tech Support Group. \n\n\nPartners: \n\n\nLocal Government Unit of Bacarra \n\n\nDA Regional Office \n\n\nTESDA Ilocos Norte Provincial Office \n\n\nPrivate agri-tech suppliers
