Agri-Tech Skills Caravan 2025: Bringing Technology to the Farmgate
Marcos Agro-Industrial School TESDA Brgy. Lydia, MarcosTESDA, through its Mobile Agricultural Innovation System (MAIs), will conduct a 3-day Agri-Tech Skills Caravan aimed at equipping local farmers and youth with modern, sustainable farming techniques and digital tools for agriculture. The training focuses on increasing productivity and profitability using accessible technologies. Objectives: To introduce modern agricultural practices to rural farmers. To provide hands-on training using TESDA's Mobile Training Laboratory. To promote the use of mobile apps and tools in agri-enterprise. To strengthen community-based skills development in agriculture. Training Programs Offered: Organic Fertilizer Production Basic Drone Operation for Farming Farm Record-Keeping using Mobile Apps Smart Irrigation System Setup Safe and Effective Pest Control Target Participants:Local farmers, out-of-school youth, agri-entrepreneurs, and barangay officials. Expected Output: 50+ farmers trained and certified. 10 demo plots established for community use. Launch of local Agri-Tech Support Group.
